Skills Classes

Learn to Synchro will introduce skaters to the fundamentals of Synchronized Team Skating. The flexibility with the age requirements, music, and small numbers of skaters will allow us to form teams that will be eligible for local, Sectional, and National competitions. Teams will also be available for annual ice shows and other skating exhibitions this rink and other surrounding arenas may offer. The program will be run concurrent with each Learn To Skate class series, allowing us to build class levels and competitive teams.

Learn to Synchro will be open to skaters ages 5 and up that have passed Basic 5 or higher. Both Youth and Adult classes are available at the Kirkland and Castle Ice Arenas.

7 Team Practices
1 Team Evaluation

2008 Open Adult Season

The Kingsgate Open Adult team will begin their of-season by skating bi-weekly on Wednesdays starting January 16th, 2008. Our season will begin in July as we prepare for the 2009 Pacific Coast Sectionals. We may also participate in the BC/YT Yukon open, both competitions slated for January of 2009. If time and scheduling allows, we plan to perform at Winter Solstice in Kirkland as well as the Holiday Gala in Renton in December 2008. Stay tuned for more details!

2008 Youth Season

The Kingsgate Youth Team will begin their of-season by skating weekly on Wednesday evenings starting January 2nd, 2008. The Castle Ice Youth Teams are currently in the building stage. We may have a Saturday afternoon series beginning February 9th, from 11:30am - 12:30pm. Please stay tuned for any updated information!
