Skills Classes

New classes begin JANUARY 2010.

Learn to Synchro classes introduce skaters to the fundamentals of Synchronized Team Skating. The flexibility with the age requirements, music, and small numbers of skaters will allow us to form teams that will be eligible for local, Sectional, and National competitions. Teams will also be available for annual ice shows and other skating exhibitions this rink and other surrounding arenas may offer. The program may run concurrent with each Learn To Skate class series, allowing us to build class levels and competitive teams.

Learn to Synchro will be open to skaters ages 6 and up that have passed Basic 4 or higher.

Youth/Teens:

Thursday Synchro Skills Classes

3:50pm - 4:20pm

All ages, Basic 8 and up

Cost: $35/month per skater

4:20pm - 4:50pm

All ages, Basic 4 - 7

Cost: $35/month per skater

Each class is run for 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of practice time. All registrants must be members of Kingsgate Skating Club ($35) and pay for ice time punch cards.

DEVELOPMENTAL TEAM

Friday "Learn To Synchro" Classes
5:00pm - 6:00pm
Basic 1 thru Basic 3
Cost: $35/month per skater

Each class is run for 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of practice time. All registrants must be members of Kingsgate Skating Club ($35) and pay for ice time punch cards. (Class instruction begins at 5:30pm)

2009 - 2010 Youth Season

We need skaters for our Preliminary Level team. Skaters must be between the ages of 6 and 9 years of age, and have passed Basic 4 or higher.

We will perform at Winter Solstice on December 11th, 2009 at the Kingsgate Ice Arena, the Everett Synchro Exhibition on January 2nd, 2010 at the Comcast Community Arena. We may also perform at the Fiesta Skate Competition in March 2010 at the Kingsgate Ice Arena.
